I’ve always had a vivid imagination. I wrote my first short story when I was in fifth grade. It was a horror story about a possessed dishwasher that escaped from the Sears appliance department and terrorized the town.

 

As a voracious reader and avid TV and movie viewer, I’m enthralled by stories that catapult me into the characters' lives.

 

 

While not in law enforcement myself, it seems I’ve always been surrounded by people who are, including my best friend, who sadly is no longer with us, and my brother-in-law. I love hearing their stories. They inspire me because the truth is stranger than fiction.
